
Email Marketing and California’s New Privacy Laws
While the November 2020 election will forever be associated with the presidential race, in California, it also signaled the passing of Prop. 24— the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). This bill came into effect just two years after the enactment of a similar law—the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In this article we look at the new regulations and how they will affect the email marketing community.
