A/B Splits help you
test content and ensure maximum response rates.
Symphonie supports creating A/B Splits
to determine the best response rate from two or more versions of an email sent to
a small sample of recipients. You can test any component of your email including
the content, subject line and/or links. The value of A/B Splits is best realized
when you test repeatedly.
You can create A/B Splits within campaigns
or as stand-alone mailings, and the recipients can come from a segment or a topic.
Design and content can originate from previous mailings, templates, or from scratch.
Use dynamic content or static content—the choice is yours. Once you have sent the
Split mailings, measure which one was more successful using Symphonie's report functions.
Based on the results, Symphonie makes it easy to send the best test email to the
remainder of your recipients. If more testing is required, you can continue to add
split mailings to the test until you have achieved the desired results. Creating
A/B Splits and using them repeatedly is a sophisticated, effective technique that
will continuously improve your email marketing efforts.
Symphonie’s advanced
Time-of-Day and Day-of-Week reports refine how to schedule your mailings.

To maximize the impact of your mailings
you should look at the best time to send them. Is Monday better than Friday? Is
8:00am better then 2:00pm? Symphonie gives you the tools to answer these questions.
The Time-of-Day report shows the time
that recipients opened the mailing, adjusted for their time zone, so you can ascertain
the best time to deliver mail to them. A person clicking to open mail on the East
Coast at 8:00am is correctly recorded as an 8:00am “click”, even if the Symphonie
server is running on the West Coast. The Day-of-Week report shows opens over each
day, so you can determine the most effective day to deliver. With exceptional reporting
tools like these you learn that knowing when to send the mailings to recipients
is as critical as sending relevant content to them.
Prioritize mailings
to meet critical deadlines and always ensure time-sensitive mailings are delivered
when appropriate.
Symphonie supports 9 levels of prioritization
of mailings so critical mail goes out first while less critical mail is sent as
time permits. For time sensitive material, Symphonie makes it easy to set a cut-off
time so mailings are sent, or not sent, per the specified timeline. When sending
time-sensitive material, such as a limited-time special offer, you can configure
Symphonie to set a cut-off time so the recipient does not receive the mailing once
the useful timeframe has passed. Although there are multiple applications across
all industry segments, this feature is exceptionally popular with retailers and
e-commerce sites.
Symphonie lets you
set recency limits to ensure a recipient never receives too many emails.
Symphonie makes it easy for you to
manage how frequently you hit a recipient’s inbox—even if that recipient finds that
they are opted into multiple topics or demographically divided into multiple segments.
You use recency to ensure they don’t receive too much email. Easily configure recency
settings per mailing and be confident that Symphonie will apply recency universally
to all mailings to a recipient, regardless of what lists they may be on.
